How to Install UCP Hub and Connect Your WooCommerce Store: Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Getting your WooCommerce store visible to AI shopping agents takes four steps: create a UCP Hub account, add your store to the platform, install the WooCommerce plugin, and connect them using your Store ID and Secret Key. The whole process takes under 10 minutes and requires no coding.

What you’ll need before you start:

• A live WooCommerce store with admin access
• An email address to register your UCP Hub account
• Access to your WordPress admin dashboard

Note: UCP Hub does not require any platform migration or changes to your storefront. The plugin runs in the background alongside your existing setup.

Step 1: Create Your UCP Hub Account

Go to app.ucphub.ai/register to create your account.

1. Enter your email address and choose a password (or use Google SSO).
2. Confirm your email by clicking the verification link sent to your inbox.
3. Log in at app.ucphub.ai/login.

Step 2: Add Your Store to UCP Hub platform

Follow the onboarding steps and add your WooCommerce store to UCP Hub. You will need just 2 things:

1. Store name
2. Store URL

Step 3: Install the UCP Hub WooCommerce Plugin

With your credentials ready, the next step is installing the UCP Hub plugin directly in WordPress. No coding required – it installs like any other WordPress plugin.

Install from the WordPress plugin directory

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard (usually at yourstore.com/wp-admin).
2. Go to Plugins → Add New.
3. In the search bar, type UCP Hub or UCP WooCommerce.
4. Locate the UCP Hub plugin in the results and click Install Now.
5. Once installation completes, click Activate.

Manual installation (if the plugin isn’t appearing in search)

If you don’t find it via the search, you can install it manually:

1. Download the plugin .zip file from https://ucphub.ai/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/ucp-hub-for-woocommerce.zip.
2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Click Choose File, select the downloaded .zip, and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.

Note: Make sure WooCommerce is already installed and active before activating the UCP Hub plugin. The plugin requires WooCommerce to function.

Once activated, you’ll see a new UCP Hub menu item appear in your WordPress admin sidebar.

Step 4: Connect the Plugin Using Your Store ID and Secret Key

This is the final step. You’ll paste the credentials from Step 2 into the plugin settings to establish a live connection between your WooCommerce store and UCP Hub.

How to connect

1. In your WordPress admin, go to UCP Hub in the left sidebar (or navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → UCP Hub tab).
2. Locate the Store ID field and paste in the Store ID you copied from the UCP Hub dashboard.
3. Locate the Secret Key field and paste in your Secret Key.
4. Click Save Settings.

The plugin will verify the credentials and confirm the connection. Once connected, UCP Hub begins reading your product data — prices, variants, inventory, and metadata — and normalizes it to the Universal Commerce Protocol standard.

What happens after you connect

• Your store’s product catalog is mapped to UCP format automatically.
• No changes are made to your storefront, theme, or checkout flow.
• Your products become readable by AI shopping agents, search systems, and future commerce channels.

Tip: If the connection fails, double-check that you copied the full Store ID and Secret Key without any extra spaces. You can always return to the UCP Hub dashboard to view or regenerate your credentials.
